Baheejah serves as a Senior Investment Associate at Collab Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm committed to empowering Black founders driving innovation in critical sectors: work, care, and infrastructure. Located in Atlanta, GA, Baheejah plays a vital role in advancing Collab Capital's mission of providing access to capital for underrepresented entrepreneurs. Her responsibilities encompass sourcing, due diligence, portfolio support, and staying attuned to industry trends, facilitating valuable insights and deal flow.

Baheejah's expertise lies at the intersection of finance and technology. Prior to her role at Collab Capital, she held the position of Investment Associate at Vestigo Ventures, a prominent early-stage FinTech venture capital fund headquartered in Cambridge, MA. Before Vestigo, Baheejah served as the Canadian and Latin American Regional Lead for Twitter's Corporate/Revenue Finance division. Her career commenced at J.P. Morgan, where she held a hybrid Commercial/Investment Banking role within the Financial Institutions Group.

She is a distinguished graduate of Spelman College, earning a B.A. in Economics with Magna Cum Laude latin honors and Omicron Delta Epsilon Economics Departmental Honors. Beyond her contributions at Collab Capital, Baheejah is the Founding Co-Lead of BLCK VC's Boston Chapter, dedicated to empowering Black investors in the venture capital ecosystem. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Make A Play Foundation, a nonprofit focused on preparing underrepresented athletes for executive careers in competitive industries. Furthermore, she lends her expertise to the Investor Advisory Board for the HBCUFounder's Initiative, engaging entrepreneurial HBCU students and alumni in addressing wealth gap disparities. Baheejah also serves as an Advisory Board Member for the CFO Leadership Council, the nation's largest non-profit membership base for CFOs. She has been a Venture Mentor, Advisor, Panelist and / or Judge for various institutions including The Wharton School, Techstars, Microsoft for Startups, Art Basel’s Black Founder’s Demo Day, TiE Atlanta, Georgia State University’s Investor Roundtable, Startup Runway, Morgan Stanley's pitch competition and more.

In addition to her professional commitments, Baheejah enjoys globe-trotting, savoring diverse cuisines with her favorite travel companions. She finds solace in the enchanting notes of jazz music, indulges in Shiatsu massages, and embraces yoga for holistic self-connection. Baheejah wholeheartedly embraces the mantra, "Lean into discomfort. We grow the most when we're uncomfortable," guiding her in both her personal and professional journey.
